FARMING FIRE BY MIKKEL ØRSTED

In his first institutional solo exhibition "Farming Fire," visual artist Mikkel Ørsted interweaves sensation, materiality, and spirituality along with philosophical and scientific questions in colorful and expressive paintings and ceramic sculptures. The works take shape according to the rhythms of fire and nature systems and balance in an aesthetic space between ornamentation and abstraction.
The exhibition is open from September 19 - January 12, Tuesday-Sunday from 11-5 pm. The kunsthalle is open every thursday evening from 11-8 pm.
