Hannah Toticki: Working Animal at Rønnebæksholm

12 September - 6 December 2026
About

Exploring the relationships between humans, animals, labour and the production of value, the exhibition reflects on a society shaped by agricultural traditions and complex systems of production. Working site-specifically with Rønnebæksholm and its surroundings, Toticki brings together sculpture, performance, text, video and music to question established ideas about work, productivity and our relationship with the natural world.

Combining humour, empathy and a keen awareness of social structures, Working Animal invites visitors to reconsider the ways in which labour, community and responsibility are understood and experienced. Through familiar yet unexpected forms, Toticki transforms the systems that shape our everyday lives into a sensory and thought-provoking exhibition, offering new perspectives on the connections between people, animals and the environments they inhabit.
